in the abduction of poor little Madeleine it must be playing on their minds constantly.

How do you get over something like this happening especially when you are away on holiday trying to get away from the stresses and worries of eveyday life.

Were you there and how are you coping knowing that you could only watch and not help?

You dont need to delete your question at the end of day life is life and we all take a risk getting on a plane going on holiday.
I was once on holiday and a man collapsed and died in front of us he suffered a major heart attack.
It is sad and it is difficult but we do have to carry on in life my heart goes out to people caught up in natural disasters, self inflicted ones and also terrorists not to mention this abduction of the little girl.
Life has to go on and that sounds bad but it is life.
My sister rearranged her holiday as she was booked to go to where the little girl was abducted and she has two girls same age.

its sad but these things happen - what about holiday makers that get caught up in bomb blasts, terrorism, plane crashes, earthquakes. nowhere on earth is 100% safe and even though we are on our hols, it doesn mean we should let our guard and common sense go out the window...
