I wonder if it has all leached out yet? I live in north Texas we get a good rain now and again. As of today I have my tomatoe plants and squash plants surrounded by the same wood.

I do use recycled paper, notebooks and household paper products; I bought the energy saving lightbulbs when on sale, and always try to buy products with packaging that say 'made with recycled materials'--but much more I just can't afford.

I used to think it was a desire to have explanations for the things that science has not yet resolved, or which have complicated theories behind them.

Then I thought it might be the fear of death.

Now I've been presented with the argument that it's a refussal to grow up and take responsibility for themselves.

I think it's probably a mix of all of these depending on the individual, with some believing because it's all they've ever known and they're not capable of expanding their minds beyond what they're taught.

What do you think?

"one must use a separate eye cream & face lotion"

see, i've heard various reasons to "support" this notion:
~ "the skin molecules in the eye area are too small & delicate to absorb a thick face cream, so eye creams are designed to be lighter and absorb better."
~ "if you use a heavy face cream under the eyes, that area will start to sag."

i don't know... it seems like marketing "logic" to sell more products. on the other hand, i'm 29 and starting to see lines around my eyes. i really want an effective moisturizer there that doesn't cause those little "milia" bumps (i've tried a few types of expensive eye creams-- Kiehls and Shiseido -- and that's what they did).

please let me know -- can i just use the same lotion around my eyes as i do on my face?

She says he doesn't deserve her because he loves her way more than she could ever love him. She loves him, but is not in love with him. They have 1 child together and have been together for 9 years they are in their mid 30's. She is not a depressed person. He is not bad to her in any way.....he doesn't beat her or cuss her etc.. He just loves her so much he is always on her huggy kissy just always there..and that bugs her. What do I tell this woman? She is ready to go. She says once she is done she is done.This has come about in the last 5 months. There is noone else that she is seeing she just wants to be herself! We have been friends for 30 long years and I just don't know what else to tell her.
