first of all the word is "use", second, the price of gas goes up every summer, because the amount of traveling increases.
It is all about supply and demand.

No. The President doesn't have any control over the price of gas. Congress has more control over the price then Bush does. They are the ones who tax every gallon of gas you buy.
And in case you didn't know. Other than the 11 cents a gallon tax on gas Congress doesn't have any control over the price of gas either. Just be glad the Democrat controlled Congress that passed this tax didn't pro-rate it. When this tax was passed 11 cents was about one third of the price of gas. I hesitate to even mention this because there might be some Democrats in Congress that would get ideas. Can you imagine $4.50 a gallon if gas tax was pro-rated.

You won't like my answer but I believe it is the truth.
High gas prices are the result of the classic law of supply and demand!
China and India are becoming the new "movers and shakers" of the world in an economic sense.
They want lots of cars. They have no controls regarding pollution.
They are taking our jobs and spending the money to have luxury items.
There are literally BILLIONS of them and they are demanding the gasoline.
They supply NO gasoline.
By the laws if supply and demand, the price of gas goes up.
You can impeach Bush, you can shut down the American oil companies, but you can't supply more oil unless you get the environmental extremists to drop their restrictions on supply by doing the drilling and building refineries.
The best (but not the fastest) solution is to continue development of alternate energy sources and greater efficiency.

You do know there is a spell checker for your questions.
What is it about economics you do not understand?
When you constantly go on and on about bush you begin to sound paranoid. Have you ever considered seeking help?
You are aware that if left untreated it can ruin your life, destroy your relationships with family and friends, work, it can cost you jobs. Have you ever lost anything like that in the last six years? Maybe bush is after you personally, you know like getting you fired.
do yourself and your loved ones a favor, admit you have an issue and go see someone you can talk to.

It has nothing to do with George W. Bush. He does not control the gas prices, the industry and how much it costs businesses per gallon, controls the gas prices. Get it right, bush has nothing to do with this.

There is no such thing as a "gas war." The government does NOT control gas prices.

FACT — DESPITE PAST RHETORIC, FOREIGN OIL DEPENDENCE HAS INCREASED: President Bush has pledged to reduce our energy dependence in every State of the Union he has delivered since taking office. At the same time, the United States has become increasingly dependent on foreign oil, from 58 percent of oil consumed in the U.S. in 2000 to 70 percent in September 2006. U.S. dependence on OPEC nations for oil imports “has risen to its highest level in 15 years.” By focusing on expanding domestic exploration, he perpetuates our dependence on oil.
