I am doing research on my family's heritage. I want to learn how to preform a better search. Do you know any good sources? So far, most of the information I have has been given to me by family members, and the wonderful people from this sight. BTW, thanks for all the help. I want to be able to contribute to the search.

Catherine maiden name was Matthews. They were born around 1808. They had 8 children that I know of. The last I knew they were in Staffordshire. I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me discover more about them like there parents and siblings. I would love to find their head stones and possibly get a pic of them. I know that some of the family lived in New Zealand too. I know that the last name there were Young and Pearson. I have a picture of the store they owned.
Some day I will be able to go England and Step where my ancestors stepped. Anyway,I know 2 of the children (James & Enoch) came to America in 1871. They migrated to Plymouth Pa. Pearson could have been spelled Pierson too.
Any information would be helpful and greatly appreciated.

I want the names of My 3x great grand parents. My 2x great grand parents names where, John Wright and Mary Ellen Bradburn, they where married, and William Jason Pennington, and Libby Moore, they where married. I'm sorry, I don't know there times of birth or death. My 2x great grand parents names where William Wright, and Mary Belle Pennington. I was told Mary Belle Pennington died in 1918 due to tb. William Wright was born in Indiana, and Mary Ellen Pennington was born in Kentucky.

Hi, I'm looking for the last name of one of my gr. grandmothers.
she was married to Daniel Doty b. march 1702 in Mass. Her first name is Louisa b. 1710 in New Jersey, d. 1785? in Fairfield South Carolina. Her headstone is worn and only shows her first name.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

my family is having a reunion, and i'd like to make a scrapbook showing our family tree, pictures, etc. Does anyone know of a genoeologist that could look up our family's background?
