Any relatives to Salli / Sally Liukkonen from California USA out there?
My grandmother's sister moved to USA in 1920's from Finland. Her maiden name was Liukkonen. She married Henry (lastname H--?) and had two children Bobby (Robert?) and Jeannette (who used to live in Arizona) but she later divorced him and married Kalle Wirtanen.
They lived near Disneyland in Anaheim California (1760 W Glenoaks ave) She died in the late 1980's.
She was burried somewhere in California. Does anyone have records of it?

I have 2 sides of my family that claim to be kin to Jesse James (old west outlaw). Other possible surnames are Anderson, Goble. I'm sure that there are many more.

I am researching my family tree and have got completely stuck on this family. The Batson's moved from Norwich in about 1860 and in 1861 on the census they are living in Bethnal Green London. However, I have a Anna Maria Batson, born Norwich in about 1851 and her other siblings, who are no where to be found on the births registers. Also her father, James Batson and his wife are nowhere to be found on the 1851 census or in the marriage indexes.
Does anyone else have Batson in their tree, from Norwich?
Thanks

So I am out walking myself the other day, leash in mouth, thinking it's all good being a wrinkly pup and all when all of a sudden I come another woofer. I got really excited and the woofer got really excited, too. We greeted each with sniffs and stuff and the woofer starts barking. Not having my usual walking companion with me I expected the woofer to talk normal like myself. Could it be that I am a cross-breed between a species of high order and wrinkly sharpei?

What is the best DNA ancestry business?
i have got over 8 (and counting) different nationalities in my blood, and have always wondered who i am in a historical sense. supposedly, icould be related to Attila Khan, and or Vladimir Dracul (funny, I thought so too). Well anyway, I had heard of the DNA ancestry project, and it sounded fascinating, and was just wondering if there are any that are better.

I looked it up on the internet, those free translating websites, but they come up with Opa. When I looked it up as define:Opa on google, it comes up with some ogranization, saying that is the acronym. Well, My grandfather died early last month and I have been thinking of getting a small tattoo with the german word for grandpa as I have heard that he was partially german, and he enjoyed german alcohol, etc. If anyone knows, I would appreciate an answer!! You can also contact me by email. Thanks!

I know that this probably isn't in the right category, but I'm not sure where else to put put it, and this seemed the safest bet.
Thanks Again, Kim!

I need to find my bio dad. I know he was married before my mom and had 2 kids, one boy one girl. Mom and him got married, they had me, he then split when i was 2 months old..we moved to Germany.

Supposedly he got married after my mom and possibly had more kids.

My mother has no record of his social security number at all. She and my stepdad are also trying to help.

I've tried areas that weren't real expensive...salvation army (25.00), called some talk shows like Oprah Winfrey, and others...I DID NOT called jerry springer - and won't I don't want to go on tv.

I even emailed Dog the Bounty Hunter, I thought for sure him/family would give me some advise. I got NOTHING, just a stupid schedule of his show. I thought he would be different , him and his family are always praying and stuff.

Anyways, What, Where, How can I find my father...I hope he's not dead. I think I would DIE!!!

ANY free agencies, sites, whatever.

Please help me......this concerns a health iss

The photo appeared in a NY newspaper before WWI. As a fundraiser the Italian Sharpshooters put on a demonstration in Madison Square Garden. After the demo, President Wilson shook hands with the men - Rocco Vitalone was the first one. I would like this photo for the Vitalone genealogy. Thank you.
