I am researching my family tree and have got completely stuck on this family. The Batson's moved from Norwich in about 1860 and in 1861 on the census they are living in Bethnal Green London. However, I have a Anna Maria Batson, born Norwich in about 1851 and her other siblings, who are no where to be found on the births registers. Also her father, James Batson and his wife are nowhere to be found on the 1851 census or in the marriage indexes.
Does anyone else have Batson in their tree, from Norwich?
Thanks

You might try

http://genforum.genealogy.com/batson/

It is much better focused. 80% of the posters are from the USA, but there are no queries about "female posture" or demons.
