The mark of the beast, represented by the number 666, has been trivialized to the nth degree. I'm not sure that this number is understood in it's proper context. Just as the number 777, a single 6 or 7, 12, 3, or 40 are not truly understood by many. The significance of these numbers are not to be taken lightly; however, to simply apply them in simplistic terms would be like applying an engine from the space shuttle into a car. These numbers are designed to distinguish or relay information ... not to be applied improperly. Besides, wouldn't it make more sense if, say it were true that evil would be introduced through one child, that the child would be conceived on 666? Couldn't that also be the 6th hour of the 6th day on the 6th of the month? Do you see how the number can be applied to so many places? Yet none of them are proper representations of this number. It is the mark of The Beast ... not The Beasts birthday!!
I suppose I feel at ease with children born on ... well, any day of the week, including any variation of 6-6-6 that anyone can come up with.

Actually the words say the mark is "6 three scored." The number is not 666 at all. A score is 20, so 6 three scored is actually 660 not 666 or it could mean 6 x 60 or 360. Puts a whole new twist on things doesn't it? A 360 is a full turn about. Whatever could that mean? That God is Evil and Good? Think of the Iroquoi belief of how the world began. Can you have good without evil? How would you know evil without good. Hmmm?

I don't know how many children were born on 6-6-06, however, the complete question of the date (the world evidently didn't end) is extremely egocentric. There are up to 40 different calendars in use in the world today (Jewish, Chinese, etc), and to think that the calendar used in Europe and the Americas is the one to project the end is rather inane.

Well, I didn't have any children on that day, but coming from someone who does have children, if my child wants to be born on that day and they are ready to be born...I am NOT going to stop them and wait until 6/7.
Besides, why is 06/06/2006 any better, worse, different, etc than 06/06/06, 06/06/106, 06/06/206, 06/06/306....06/06/1906?

There was a baby born here on 06-06-06 at 6:06 am. He weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and his mother died 6 minutes after he was delivered. The story was in our local papers, but they withheld the name of the baby. The story said the mother was a vagrant who had just came into town about 6 weeks ago. No one knows of any family anywhere. The baby is in a foster home right now. I could get into trouble for telling you, but I just couldn't believe it when I found out the foster home is in the 600 block of 6th street. The baby makes the 6th person living in the home. Of course sooner or later the baby will be adopted and all of this will just be so much lost history. Still, it makes you wonder? Who will adopt this baby not knowing any of this? Where will the baby go? What will it grow to become? Since adoption papers are sealed, we will never know in our lifetime if the person we see in elected office, or next door to us is this baby grown up. I have seen the baby and he looks fine except for the fact that the nails on both of his big toes are split down the middle. Sort of looks like a split hoof.

It's Sandra Bernard's birthday, other than that, I feel anyone would be hard pressed to find the exact number of births which took place on 6jun6 and you didn't specify Nationally or Internationally. that being said i DO have an opinion on all the "end of the world" hoaxes that have come out ever since the resurrection of Christ....the Revelation was written to give all of us a clue as to what the tribulation would be like so we would know the consequences of not accepting Christ as our Savior before the fact & to have a burden on our hearts to tell everyone we can tell about redemption through Jesus Christ....the bottom line is not when it's going to happen, but to live each day of our lives as if it's imminent & to live for Christ & share Christ with anyone we can so everyone who surrenders their lives to Christ can avoid this horror...the date is of no importance....the avoidance thereof IS....if you catch my drift►◄●►God Bless & Keep You.

Technically 6-6-6 is just an abbreviation, it's actually 6-6-2006.
