I understand that no matter what we do, we are going to have illegals in this country. But we do have laws in place to take care of them. The problem is that no one is enforcing the laws. There are Immigrants in this country that followed the law to become legal and it is very expensive and time consuming. By passing this bill what are we telling them? This falls into the same as the criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens. Giving amnesty is not the answer. I believe that we need to round up all the illegals and send them back, secure our borders and then start giving work visas legally. If the illegals really want to be here and work for their families, then they will not have problem with this. And yes they need to pay taxes and get off of Social Security and welfare.

I think it is about as realistic as we are going to get when it comes to immigration reform. Our government knows we don't have the resources to deport 12 million people. It's sad that it has come to this but honestly, it isn't the fault of the illegals, but our government for making it so easy for them to come here. Now their wheels are turning and it might just get them on the ball to really get some tighter border security and add some tougher measures to keep illegals out.

Immigrates should pay taxes, they use the country's infrastructural as much as anyone else. People seem to forget that besides for defense and social programs, taxes go towards roads, sewers, economic programs and more.
