how long should i wait to get a tattoo? i had my baby 3 weeks ago.

That depends... are you going to breast feed your baby? If not you probably won't have any problems on getting one done know if you want to.

If you are nursing your baby, I would wait until your baby's diet consists of more than just breastmilk and his/her immune system is a bit stronger...even though you may not be introducing anything toxic, you are still introducing a new thing to the baby and if it's only 3 weeks old, that's still a bit young. With that, you also need to do ALOT of homework on the studio you go to and such.

You might want to call your doctors office and ask them. Just leave a message with your doctor to give you a call. I would say until you done breast feeding to be on the safe side.

I got mine 4 weeks after, I was not breastfeeding though, if you are then you should wait.

I got mines 2 months maybe a little less after I had my son on my are and I'm fine.

where are you getting it? you may want to wait till you get back to your original body weight till you get it especially if it's going to be around the waist area.

are you breast feeding? if you are, you MUST wait until you are finished with that. also you should wait until your body is finished healing as well.

I think you should wait indefinetly. I think tattoos are trashy looking. Not criticizing, just my opionion.
