My dad doesn't stand up for me and my mom doesn't care what do you do in that situation?

You are still a child that deserves protection.call social services on them , and explain you feel no one was looking out for your best interest.

does your step dad have kids? Because my cuz stepmom is a witch and she has a daughter the same age and she hates my cuz. She will call my house and tell me everything my cuz been doing and how she needs help. Shs is so jealous of my cuz not only is she like very pretty she is always book smart and graduate with honors and she scored a 29 on her ACT the first time she took it! I would really sit down and talk to mom and dad if they dont listen talk to someone who is close to them that would maybe get through to them! hope everything goes ok!! and good luck

Ahh yes, I went though this all of my teenage years. My mom is still with him, and he's better now that I don't live with them. As much as you'd hate to, the only thing you can do (since most chicks don't stand up for their kids!), is respect both of them, or at least pretend to, until you're 18. Keep your distance, don't talk back. Lots of praying works. Talk to your friends, school counselors. Don't let the anger build up. It will eat at you believe me. Try to be a happy person, maybe he'll lay off of you if you show him it doesn't bother you. Good Luck!

i had the SAME FREAKING problem!
my dad would say somthing and my mom wouldnt defend me ever. i ended up moving out at age 17 2 months ago and been going through depression and **** but i think it helped me alot to get away from all the shouting blame and **** in my house, it sounds like your younger though so that maynot be a good option for you. i think either you should talk to your mom separatly or some one told me to just "yes sir" every thing off and not react...it worked quite well but i have a temper so i cracked one day lol

Remind your mom that you were in her life long before your step-dad Children Come First!!!!!! Don't listen to people when they tell you to stop being jealous, they'll never understand your situation.

nah shes not being a brat at all it is hard to see your parents with someone else. theres not much you can do i found that out myself i just try to get along with the bloody bloke
