I'm a male in my early twenties. I do martial arts 3 times a week, and some occasional weightlifting.

My problem is that no matter what I do, I can't get rid of my gut. The stomach muscles are hard as rock (almost!), but it's all covered with fat!

I've tried eating less, but that was really bad: I lost about 5-6 kilograms (about 12 pounds), and it was almost all muscle! Now I still have the gut, except I'm a lot weaker!

What's the solution? How do you get rid of the fat without losing muscle?

Is it all women, or is just my daughter, but she seems to expect me take her out for lunch and dinner all the time, regardless of what meal I have cooked.
Now, don't get me wrong here, but I don't fix hamburger helper, or crap like that, but steak, chops, chicken, pork roast, and such with all of the trimmings, however, my child would rather that I give her money and let her go to resturants like Texas Roadhouse, as if it is required that she be allowed to eat out whenever she wants.
Now, is it just her, your do all of you think your that special and that we should take you out all of the time.

P.S.
I am a great cook, and I even do the cleaning after word, so that she has more time to spend with her friends, before she has to report for duty with US Army.

I have suffered from depression since I was 11. it got better for a while after I had a time in a mental health ward. Now it is getting worse again. I cry all the time, am irritable and listless, feeling suicidal at times..not that i really want to end it all just end the pain. I have 2 beautiful daughters and i really want to get help but heres the glitch...my husband WONT LET ME!!! He flat out refuses to let me get help. I am work 80 + hours a week overnight shifts at a nursing home and bring in the majority of the income but he just wont let me. Any advice is appreciated.

I get harrased all the time by my family for being a NASCAR fan, so I get these jokes all the time
NASCAR Samaritans

There were three NASCAR fans on their way to a race, when they see an accident on the side of the road so they pull over! They go to help the victim, but they realize she is naked, so they take off their hats. The first guy was a Earnhardt fan, and put his hat over her left breast. The second guy was a Elliot fan, and put it over her right breast!! The last guy was a Waltrip fan, and put his hat over her crotch.
When the police arrived, the officer looks at the girl and goes to evaluate. He first picks up the Earnhardt hat, puts it back down and writes something down. He does the same with the Elliot hat. Then he picks up the Waltrip hat and puts it down then picks it up again. He does this several times until the Waltrip fan says, "What are you? Some kind of pervert?"

The officer replies, "No, I just usually find an asshole under one of these hats."

This Guy i have been talking to for about 1month now. Sweet guy,He happens to be 2yrs younger then me. My stepson is 20 years old and still lives with us. With 16, he dropped out of school and promised to get a job instead. So far, nothing like this happened in 4 years and has still not looked for work until recently. We provided him with food and housing all those years. He's lazy and does hardly contribute anything in the household, like cleaning etc. He just hangs out at home and does nothing. And if we criticize him for it, he flips out. Any argument with him turns into a storm of the nastiest, most violent cursing one can ever imagine. Even up to the point where he threatens the person with ultimate violence; walks up into the face, challenging an open fight.
This happened a couple days ago to me and I am his step dad for half his life, provided him with everything he needed. He threatened me to "f*** me up real bad" and I was challenged to the fight. I turned around, because I did not want to hurt him, for the sake of himself and my wife. What in the world can I do?

I'm a 17-year-old girl, 5'6, 141 pounds. I've recently lost 40 pounds and want to lose about 15 more. The thing is .. some weird things have been happening lately. I am always cold, my hair is really dry and falling out more than usual, I'm lightheaded and sometimes dizzy, and sometimes my heart feels weird. I exercise everyday and eat about 1000-1200 calories a day. Do you know why all this is happening? Any suggestions for what I should do? I don't THINK I'm underweight ... and I really would like to lose more. What do you all think?

im taking care of my friends rat, and i usually use normal wood shavings that i get at a woodshop, but she uses store bought pine wood shavings....will i hurt her rat if i begin to use the stuff i use on her rat??? (ive heard changing their bedding type can affect them???)
