I have a rental property in Louisiana that I purchased a termite contract for this year for $700.00. Seem like I should be able to claim it as an expense against the income that I recieved on the property. Does anyone know if I can claim it, and what that would fall under? All I see in Turbo Tax is pesticides listed as a supply, but it seems to be more of a service than a supply.

How much a person is really hurting when they try to end their life?

That its not that they are really wanting to hurt everyone else around them... that the pain that they are feeling is so deep that they do not know how to deal with it and feel like ending it is the only way that they can go?

That when a person is in that frame of mind that the people around them should treat the distraught person with love and compassion... because harsh words and critisizm will only make the person feel worse?

What can be done to help the world see and understand that there is pain that is so deep and inconsolable that some people do not posess the coping skills that they need?

Please take this question seriously and dont even bother answering if you are going to make fun.

But if you do answer please try to answer all the questions... please this is important to me.

Thank you in advance for answering.

I am doing an assignment for MSTU2003 (maybe there are some people who have gone to University of Queensland) called a Discourse Map. We had to get an article on health and draw a discourse map and then talk about it in 750 words. I thought I knew what i was doing until i actually started writting. It's due monday and i'm totally lost.

Basicially my lecturer has said that: Discourse is "what is said, considered as a social act"...which i don't exactly get. Can anyone explain discourse to me in laymans terms?

I'm in highschool now and I have lots of papers to sign.

But I am also finding out which signatures I like and which I don't. Am I allowed to change signatures? Like if I grow up, will I have to use the same signature forever?

Also when does your signature become...written in stone? Dx

When does the actual signature start to be important?

I have a 7 year old and a 3 year old. Their Dad walked away from us and is very inconsisant with his contact with them. He doesn't live close to us but he was phoning for a while and then he stopped. This happens a lot and sometimes the kids won't hear from their Dad for 6 months. How do I help my children get through these times. I never say anything negative about their father either. He gave me my children and for that I am grateful. Just because we didn't get along doesn't mean that I don't want him to have contact with his children. But unfortunatly the kind of relationship he is building with his children isn't healthy and has begun to really take a toll on my children. It is so confusing for them. I just want to help them the best I can but I don't know what that is. Any hints out there????

I was born in the US with a US father and British Mother. So currently I have a US passport. Previuosly I could not apply for British citizenship on my Mothers side due to rule did not come into effect until 1982 and it was not retroactive. They have now passed a rule that if i was born after 1961 I can now become a UK citizen. I am in the process of doing this. Can I keep my US passport and be a dual citizen?
