i am looking to move out of my parents house.. but before i hope in my car and hit the road in any direction,, what are some good states? why? what are some good cities in that state? why? what is the mininum wage in the state? what are the bad side of towns, and good sides to live in? what kind of stores are in your area that u like? what kind of music is on the radio?

This is crazy because it seems like it should be simple. I'm new to this Mac stuff. I received a Powerbook G4 and I know it has a Superdrive, uses OS X, and has programs like iDVD, iMovie, and even Final Cut ProHD(which I'm not THAT stupid to know this is an incredble program). But first things first. How in the hell to a create a duplicate copy of of a home DVD from a friend? I've got the blank DVD's and everything. There is just too many programs to choose from. I want to make a few copies and then later on think about editing it and creating effects that will blow them away.

As hardy as day lilies and daffodils. I have lilies in a pot that I bought well before Halloween ( live in Alabama) did't pay much attention to them in the winter. Now they are starting to sprout again. As for Daffodils, my Mom had some in her yard & the Gardener ran them over cutting grass... still they bloom.?. What other flowers are like that???????

I saw a house in Van Nuys, Ca. with probably 15-20 cats outside in poor condition and I saw many more inside today. An elderly lady lives there and I suspect she is a hoarder. I called the East Valley Animal Shelter to report the abuse and to tell them of the condition of the cats and they were not really interested in helping. They said they needed to send out a letter to the owner first then they would respond to the owners response. I couldn't believe it. I told them I wondered if the cats would respond to the letter if they were still alive when it arrived. We don't have a lovely program like animal precinct in NYC or Phoenix or Miami or Houston or Detroit, we in Los Angeles county have no support system for abused animals, Does anyone out there know where to turn to for help? Poor kitties need help. They looked sick and underfed and in need of rescuing fast.

Hello, I am not trying to scam the government or anything, but i have a few questions.

First off I live in a family of 6 (including me) and well my step-father makes about 1800 a month totally to about 22k a year in gross and about 18-mid 19k actual take home. My mom just had another baby boy and is on WIC and we do get a some foodstamps, about 140 or so. Well i have a son aswell but he lives down the street with his mother, we are together but I am only 20 now and we are both in college. I really want her to move in with me into my room which i built big enough for the 3 of us in my mothers back yard, for the time being. She currently gets WIC aswell but I was wondering if she moves in will she stop recieveing WIC (formula,baby food,milk) since my mother is on WIC too? Also not that it matters so much but will my mother recieve less food stamps since we would need to report our (me and my gf) paystubs (which total to about 850 total a month)?

Hi I go hiking a lot almost everyday. And I was thinking it would be cool to have a Whip and learn how to use it lol. Seems like it could be very usefull in the outdoors. No offense but if you have noticed it, Mexicans are very patriotic to Mexico, but they hate it there. Just because the U.S. offers jobs isn't a legit answer because a lot of immigrants "not only mexicans" just live here on welfare and section 8. And do not even look for a job. I do not understand. Back in the 1900s Russian immigrants from the communist U.S.S.R. didn't go around being Nationalists in the U.S. thats why they came here. I believe ILLEGAL immigration is a problem. If you want to come here at least come with documents, and if you have no way of getting any then I guess you lucked out or need to work harder. Life isnt fair... Right, you cant pick your life, sometimes you get a shitty deal.
