Hahahaha! LOVE IT! I WILL WRITE IN CAPITOL LETTERS TOO BECAUSE THEY ARE SOOO GREAT! OKAY, I CAN'T REALLY PICK A FAVORITE SONG. I LOVE WAY TOO MANY TO CHOOSE. WHERE THE STREETS HAVE NO NAME IS REALLY GREAT, ALONG WITH ONE( REALLY REALLY GOOD!), TOMORROW, THE GROUND BENEATH HER FEET, WITH OR WITH OUT YOU, BAD, BEAUTIFUL DAY, ELEVATION, SOMETIMES YOU CAN'T MAKE IT ON YOUR OWN, ORIGINAL OF THE SPECIES. i AM STOPPING HERE BECAUSE I COULD JUST KEEP GOING. SORRY IF I MISSED SOME. AND YES, THE ARE THE GREATEST BAND IN THE WORLD, AND ALWAYS WILL BE! YES, I AM OBSESSED, HAVE THE U2 iPOD, U2 BY U2, U2 BOOKS, SHIRTS, ETC. OH! THE COMPLETE U2, TOO. AND LOTS OF OTHER VALUABLE MERCHANDISE. HAHAHAHA. ANYWAYS, THEY ARE TOTALLY THE BEST ALWAYS WILL BE, NO ONE COMES CLOSE. THEIR MUSIC IS AMAZING, AND THEY ARE PRACTICALLY CHANGING THE WORLD.
YEAH FOR BONO'S EFFORTS!
LONG LIVE U2!
SEE THEM LIVE BEFORE YOU DIE!
LOVE THEM FOREVER!
(oh! saw them in Detroit on the Vertigo Tour in 2005! Changed my life! This was my first concert, but I am only 13, so I still have time!)

HUGE fan here!

I saw them live for the first time in 1997 during the Popmart Tour in Chicago. From that moment on, I was hooked. My Mom has always been a fan so I grew up hearing their music around the house.

In 1992 my Mom saw them for the first time on the ZooTV tour in Detroit and when she came back I remember her acting very strangely, like she was on a sort of high. I was only 10 at the time so I thought it was weird, but it wouldn't be long before I'd discover the magic myself!

The only U2 song I can think of at the moment that I don't really care for is "A Room at the Heartbreak Hotel" but I think it's because of the background singers and not because of U2 themselves.

"One" is my all time favorite song. I can't even begin to explain what it means to me. I can just tell you that it brought me to tears each of the 4 times I saw it performed live!

I love all their albums, but my favorites would probably be Achtung Baby (that's number one!), POP and October. I'm a big fan of many of their b-sides too. For example, I actually like "Always" much better than "Beautiful Day." "A Celebration" is also incredible!

Viva U2, now and forever!

Now let's not insult others who don't like U2. Everyone has the right to choose and their opinions don't have to coincide with your own.

Yes, IN MY OPINION U2 is the greatest band ever. But then again, it is because I grew up with their music. If I were 15 years old I'd probably hate U2 and like Bowling for Soup or some crap like that.

But hey... your enthusiasm is good.

U2 is a very good band , I would not say the best but they do
have some good songs. I like New Years Day and Over the
Watchtower and a few others. They are the type of band
that other groups like to listen to.
My pick for best would be Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd and
Lynard Skynard and Allman Brothers.

No. They are not the best music group in the world.

But that is just my opinion. It does NOT make me stupid. Without everyone's different opinions, think how dull life would be.

Think about that before you start saying anyone who doesn't like U2 doesn't have a brain.

I'm with you, saw them live at Parkhead in Glasgow around '93 and they were amazing!!

Favourite song is still Pride (in the name of love), not sure why.

I have to agree with the Yahoo'r that said their older stuff is better though.
