Hi, I was wondering some of there things:
I don't get the difference between fat and cholesterol and why are they so important?
Also why is too much fat bad?

the are actually both lipids. a lipid is a molecular structure that has a low or no affinity for water. for the most part fats are used to store energy for later use but many are used for biological functions and are essential for normal operation. cholesterol is actually a steroid and is used in the formation of every cell membrane. it is also used by the body to create other steroids that the body requires
