I'm in highschool now and I have lots of papers to sign.

But I am also finding out which signatures I like and which I don't. Am I allowed to change signatures? Like if I grow up, will I have to use the same signature forever?

Also when does your signature become...written in stone? Dx

When does the actual signature start to be important?

Rika, I am 57 and I recently got tired of "writing my name" and I designed a signature for myself it is basically the first initial of each work and a squiggly line behind it. I got the idea from my daughter and now "signing my name" is kind of fun again-lol. Anyway, I think you can change your signature any darn time you want to for as long as you want to and there is no law against this. There are laws about using different names but I don't know of any laws saying how you should sign your name. Good question-k-

Your signature is never the same from one time to the next. There will always be variations. The main points of your signature will always be recognizable.

You can change your signature by working at it...but it will always have some points in common. You can't really hide your signature from an expert.

Your signature will change over time. Your actual signature is always important since it is an important part of legal documents such as loans, buying a house or car, etc.
