Tom orrow is my second baby shower!!!! My fiance has a 5 year old daughter from another women and she knows about the baby...I was thinking about getting her a big sister present to open tomorrow and she will also be helping me open mine ( that way we are making her feel as though she is a part of this too) anyways. Anyone have any suggestions on what to get her....

yester day went to the doctor....she says everything is normal and head is in position....i'm due december 15....is this about the time that the head gets in position????? this is my first!

One fine day in Ireland, a guy is out golfing and gets up to the 16th hole. He tees up and cranks one. Unfortunately, it goes into the woods on the side of the fairway.

He goes looking for his ball and comes across this little guy with this huge knot on his head, and the golf ball lying right beside him. 'Goodness,' says the golfer, and proceeds to revive the poor little guy.

Upon awaking, the little guy says, 'Well, you caught me fair and square. I am a leprechaun. I will grant you three wishes.'

The man says, 'I can't take anything from you, I'm just glad I didn't hurt you too badly,' and walks away.

Watching the golfer depart, the leprechaun thinks, 'Well, he was a nice enough guy, and he did catch me, so I have to do something for him. I'll give him the three things that I would want. I'll give him unlimited money, a great golf game, and a great sex life.'

Well, a year goes past (as they often do in jokes like this) and the same golfer is out golfing on the same course at the 16th hole. He gets up and hits one into the same woods and goes off looking for his ball. When he finds the ball he sees the same little guy and asks how he is doing.

The leprechaun says, 'I'm fine, and might I ask how your golf game is?'

The golfer says, 'It's great! I hit under par every time.'

The leprechaun says, 'I did that for you. And might I ask how your money is holding out?'

The golfer says, 'Well, now that you mention it, every time I put my hand in my pocket, I pull out a ten pound note.'

The leprechaun smiles and says, 'I did that for you. And might I ask how your sex life is?'

The golfer looks at him a little shyly and says, 'Well, maybe once or twice a week.'

The leprechaun is floored and stammers, 'Once or twice a week?!'

The golfer, a little embarrassed, looks at him and says, 'Well, that's not too bad for a Catholic priest in a small parish.'

My son was sent to stand outside his class today because he tutted at himself because he didn;t know a word. The teacher said its because he has declared his classroom a "non-moaning" zone !!! He wants us to re-enforce this at home by not allwoing our children to moan about anything. Does anyone else think this is wrong? If he had shouted ou "for F sake" os something then of course he should be punished but not for just tutting surely. He's 10 by the way.

i would like to point out however,
that last year i had a gold crown fitted for £98 ,and about two years ago a porcelin one fitted for £128 both by on the NHS
so why the sudden increase in price?

I've been experiencing stiff joints especially around the finger joints. Also, some back pain and knee pain. I'm only 20. Will these symptoms disappear or am I having athritis? I've visited the docter and I was told not to worry but that I should see a physiotheraphist just for my knees. What about the other areas like my finger joints, elbows, and my back? Has anyone experienced these pains before and will they eventually go away? Are these signs of Parkinsons? Please help.

From my experience I find that guys are much more attracted to naughty girls....She mention she got really tight jeans and bought a pack of cigarettes to just light and hold but not really smoke...I see nothing wrong with that...I am a smoker and not encouraging her to smoke, but it she wants to use a lit cigarette to get attention and help her bad girl image...she is not hurting anything..she is not really smoking as she says ...just holding it and taking a puff or two.

My mom 50, is divorced and hasn't had a boyfriend in 8 years. She has only been on two dates in the past 6 years and never had a second date.

She is bad at relationships and acts like an immature teen and latches on to men way to quick. She married my father after 8 months of knowing him and that was ugly.

She called me today to tell me she has a "boyfriend" and she has known him for FOUR days. She told me she wanted me and my wife to meet him tomorrow. She also said she is taking him to Thanksgiving to meet the entire family!

She says he is "perfect" for her: never been married, has no children, has his own house and is an accountant.

We were shocked and felt it was so rushed. I am uncomfortable meeting her boyfriend of 4 days. We want her to have a boyfriend so she stops trying to hang out with us all of the time, but this is way fast!

Are we overreacting? What do you think?

I'm a procrastinator who doesn't apply herself. Only a few things motivate me and right now university isn't one of them. I'm studying in a program i don't enjoy and planning to switch next year. I know my GPA is still important this year, but I don't know how to motivate myself to get my work done and attend class. I need some hardcore study tips please, or at least your suggestions.

I have about 1500 pics stored on my computer, and I wanted to back them up on a disc for long term storage. Most of these pictures are not printed out, but are very important to me. I want to make sure the CD lasts many many years. I have heard that some CD-R's only last 5 years or so. Any Suggestions?
