Break it down into small bits. Make yourself a calendar and stick with it -- so for example from 10 - 11 a.m. dedicate yourself to studying for class 101. If the mountain gets too tall you will definitely not do anything.
The easiest way to motivate yourself to attend class is to realize that the grades come easier if you are there to listen.
Also figure out what DOES motivate you? Can you reward yourself for your good behavior? If I accomplish what's on my "to do" list, I will let myself . . . whatever.
I just think you need to step back and look at yourself. You really don't need study tips; you need life and maturity tips. You have given yourself permission to slack off. What makes you think that you will be any better in your next program?
If somebody else were writing this question, what would you tell them? "Gut it up and do what has to be done."
Also you might want to consider whether you have some kind of learning difference or ADD. Has this been an issue with you always, or just since you started college? If you won't focus because deep down you cannot focus, if you are always chasing that "next best thing," then please see a psychiatrist or someone who treats these diabilities to get tested.

Create a schedule. When you have a subject, allow a certain amount of time to study that subject regularly. In math, I suggest a little every day, even if it is only 10 minutes. Other subjects in which you naturally excel can be given less time, but do not succumb to doing something in one night and then letting go for 6 nights.
Lastly, don't be too hard on yourself when you don't keep the schedule. Make it reasonable and grow into the habit of regular study habits. Maturity is all about making hard decisions to do something rather than doing what you want to be doing.

I am so like you. The best way to be motivated is to just think about how far you got and just how long it would take if you did not finish it. The more you procrastinate, the longer you have to stay in school. Another thing, it is best to study in libraries especially when you do not want to be bothered and be near people talking...that is a big distraction for me. Try to not go out as much and spend more time studying. Its hard but guaranteed to satisfy you in the future!!!

I always had the best results studying alone and listening to my favorite music using ear-buds. But the most important part was to light up a big bowl before studying. It really lets you focus on the material.

study in a quiet place.
Make a study calendar. Break tasks down into small segments and then reward yourself for completing the task.
Always go to class. You could miss something important.
If you were in love with what you were doing you would always want to go to class.
do you like the subject that you are studying?
