I have brought up the issue about us not being a couple yet, and he says he is not ready for a serious relationship. I truely love him and would love for things to work out. We get along well and go on dates every week, he brings me around his family too.

i just found out I have a warrant for my arrest for assault 1st degree. 2 days ago i got in sort of a heated wrestling match with my brother when i went to my mother's house (she was not home, just me and my brother). He came at me first with closed fists and I wrestled him to the ground. I never hit him with a closed fist nor did I initiate it.

So anyway, i left and apparently after i was gone he called the cops to report me as assaulting him. So what should I do now to handle this as painlessly as possible (i.e. not having to sit in a cell for any extended time, not having to pay bail) because I have classes I can't miss.
-appear before a judge to answer the warrant, try to get it lifted
-surrender at the station to officers and tell my side, speak perhaps to the officer who got the warrant, tell what occurred (thus admitting we had physical contact) and hope they believe and don't pursue charges
-dont admit to anything (even being there) before i talk to a lawyer

I am Iraqi living in Jordan for temporarily period, I have the UK visa and would like to travel in UK and be as refuge. Does anyone know how long it takes to stay as a refuge status (or when the UK government decides to accept/reject me) and if they accept me as refuge can I travel out of UK or there is a certain time I should stay before leaving UK.

My boyfriend cheated on my about 3 weeks ago, and it absolutely broke my heart. I was so in love w/ him, and he said he was in love w/ me to, and still is. He has been saying sorry to me and telling me how stupid he was and how he still loves me and wants me back everyday since then. He has promised not to talk to the girl and that he would never do it again because it made him feel so horrible to hurt me like that. I really want us to be together, but then I'll have other thoughts or see the girl he cheated on me with in the hallway and i quickly change my mind. Also, my parents told me that they do NOT want me around, talking, or with him. I am so confused, I don't know what to do! Please Help!!!

My brother and sister-in-law had a baby boy on Wednesday, they will no doubt receive countless teddies, clothes etc for him from adoring grandparents and uncles and aunties as I did with my daughter but what would you recommend getting them, something that they would really apreciate and find usefull?
