It was recently reported on the news that there was a court case regarding the use of civilians for catching people speeding and the legalities of civilians carrying this out on behalf of the police. Does anyone know the outcome of this or is it still ongoing?

Why can't they just take care of their problem like they used to? Its like there is a terror haven right next to them, and they are being too slow about taking it out.
One day they arrest two terrorists, another day they arrest three...
Just kill them! Don't arrest them!
And do it quick, so that enemy isn't prepared.

Israel is too damn scared of what the "world opinion" is going to be. They are morons (their Government)

What do you think?

Are offended by hypocrisy? For instance, would it trouble you if your parent or spouse was adamantly for or against something and expected you to adhere to his stated beliefs while at the same time he or they did the exact opposite in secret?

Hypocrisy is rampant in our Republican party. Whether you accept it as par for the course or are personally offended by it is up to you. My concern is that a nation that tolerates and turns a blind eye to hypocrisy is very much lessened and debased as a moral society. The fact that the hypocrisy has to do with "affected" moral values by our leaders makes the whole situation that much worse!

I'm thinking of becoming a Democrat!

he starts whining that i'm bothering him.He treats me bad, my ex.(biological father)is an *** he's only available sundays, not even a phone call on week days.My son tells me he's depressed and sad sometimes. He even tells me that he thinks God is not real,(sniff).
My ex.won't call because he thinks i'll pick up the phone, I told his mom to tell him , i was not picking up the phone,so he can call everyday his 2 boys. But he never does, only sunday morning to pick them up.Besides counseling, what can i do with my son, sort of like a therapy, or hobby,to cheer him up ?He's only happy, when we go shopping for him (not fair). My son was angry at me,even when my ex was living here, my ex would get mad at my son for a reason and my son would take it on me.I want to talk to my husband about our son,but he won't listen to me or tell my son directly exactly what i say.Knowing my son,he'll be embarrassed
and deny everything to his dad.So what should i do ? HELP ! I want to save my son.

Please help me solve my family's Xmas nightmare. I'm the youngest of 3 girls, and we're all married, and my eldest two sisters both have kids and they all live near my parents. We usually all go to sister 2 house for Xmas. Problem: sister 1 no longer wants to spend Xmas day at sister 2 house, as sister 2 husband is an unreasonable pig. Parents always go to sister 2 house as their house is too small. Sister 1 has suggested that as the sisters don't get on, maybe the parents should alternate venues and spend one Xmas with sister 1, then the following year with sister 2, etc. Parents would still see grandchildren at some point on Xmas day as all live locally, but would just not stop for Xmas lunch. Sister 2 has gone balistic. She claims sister 1 has "stolen" her kids' grandparents from her. Everyone fallen out. No one speaking. Parents now having Xmas on own rather than have to choose. I'm trying to keep out of it. Solutions anyone????

I got the idea from several places to wash my 6 year olds mouth out with soap, because he was talking ugly. I did it last night and now he is still mad at me and is acting like a tried to 'kill' him or something. He was talking ugly in front of a friend of mine and also called my friend an old, ugly, woman right in front of her. BTW, he is usually not like that, but yesterday it was one thing right after the other with him. He is acting so upset with me, that I am thinking that it was a mistake to wash his mouth out. What is your opinion on that method and will he ever get over being mad at me, because it is breaking my heart.

P.S. Please don't be mean.
