for them to be open honest and truthful, means opening up to somebody and unlike women. Men are ashamed to express their feelings, in case it shows a sign of weakness.
Goes back to gender roles - which were clarly defined man is strong and females the more expressive weaker sex. Yet in today's society we all know this is a fallicy.

Your just speaking for the sorry men that you have dealt with. Not every man is like this. Women are just the same as some of these men, if not worse. Don't put down every other man because you picked the wrong guys. Their are good men out there. Maybe when you come across one you will be singing a different tune. Until then try picking your men a lot better.

Not sure why for you men can't be truthful about his feelings for you, but in my relationship, if it weren't for my fiance saying he loved me first then it still would not be said. So yes I loved him, but would have NOT told him ever, until he said so first. Now we both say it all the time.

Sounds like you know the wrong men! Most of them can, they just choose not to be when they are not with the right person.

Becaus we have feelings too. If you want an honest truthfull man you need to be ready to be hurt sometimes and be prepaired for answers to questions that are not really what you wanted to hear
If you tell him that you love him dont auto expect him to say he loves you . if you say you have put on weight dont expect him to disagree. If you ask if he has slept with your sister dont expect him to say yes . get it .

It's not all men, but male pride and not wanting to appear weak is a good place to start!!Personally I don’t think it’s a sign of weakness.

Yes they can...not all guys are the same remember. Maybe they are shy to do so because they aren't sure what reaction they will get.
