I am currently 16 weeks pregnant (4 months).
I want to know, if I keep my mind (brain) occupied with intelligent things, like reading & watching discovery channel for example, can this transfer to my baby?

If this theory has been proven, can someone please help find reading material on this subject.
If this theory has not yet been proven, is there anyone a scientist or psychologist maybe that would like to help me, and take this journey with me, so we can explore the concept?

After ranting about child abuse in church-affiliated state custody facilities, FindLaw commentator Marci Hamilton states:

...churches' bids for complete autonomy, and even for liability waivers, should be denied, and they should be held liable for civil damages, and face criminal penalties, when they were aware of child abuse and did not address it. The Massachusetts' House vote this week to require clergy to report child abuse, which was already required of therapists, teachers, and social workers, is a step in the right direction.

The fact that the churches are accepting public money only adds additional government leverage. For instance, public funds should be automatically cut off as soon as credible complaints are brought. And accessible, fast-moving administrative procedures run by the government, not the church, should be made available whenever it is alleged that children are being harmed.

Time and time again .. especially now.. (for governor, senator, presidents and so on..) I have been hearing negative ads. The ads are basically talking about others's fault, nothing about what they can do. I heard people say US has the best voting system and say to exercise your right, you should vote the corrupted politicans out. Now, to me it turns out whoever you vote, they are bunch of hyprocrites! they only point out others' mistake.. I tell you what.. I can do that too.. why don't you vote me!???

Illegal immigration laws are in place to protect the citizens of this country. I think that the Federal Gov't should start penalizing cities who refuse to enforce federal law.

Do you agree? If so, what kind of punishment should be enforced by the feds?

If you promote everything that is a cause of a problem, why are you asking for a solution?

Maybe its just me, but it seems ridicules.

"How can we make the streets safer" ---asked by terrorist
"How can we increase life expectancy" ---asked by tabacco companies
"How can we keep much are personal freedom" -asked by Bush

Either agree with me, say i'm wrong, or feel free to add another insane question/asker combination.
