We are just coming into oyster season now, so in about a month it should be really good season. In Virginia, we have several good festivals at oyster time, my fav being the Urbanna Oyster Festival in Urbanna, Va. Yum!!!

It depends on where you are. In Maine, I wouldn't eat oysters Past November or before April.
