I think one man can be in the forefront of the changing of history, however, they would need loyal people around them to make it work successfully. Look at the radical leaders such as Hitler, Castro, they have made changes however not alone.

Anyway...
One person can make an impact but it takes a group effort to truly create change.

its takes one powerful man to inspire the group effort that makes a difference.
power takes three froms. personal power i.e. charisma (think nelson mandela, ghandi etc), positional power i.e. being the boss, situational power i.e. being in right place at right time (think war time leader like winston churchil)

its possible for one person to lead it, but you probably need a group to make more of an impact.
