Hey there, we also have a nut free school, and have started a Universal snack program, and my son is allergic to nuts. So myself being a cook, went over the proposed menu. Here are some things that we have on our menu. Cheese sticks, Marshmallow treats, banana bread/muffins. yogurt and fresh fruit. etc

You could try taking a flour tortilla putting deli meat, and cheese, roll up, then slice into 1-1/2 inch pieces. keep from unrolling with fun toothpicks! you buy all kind of cheap funny looking ones, with fun fruit, spirals, themed by the season! then the kids like the way they look, and will enjoy eating them! works for me! lolol

dried apple, apricots, dried banana chips, dates, dried pineapple chunks, dried mango slices, dried coconut slices.... any dried fruits, children love them and so do adults as they are crunchy and sweet, but contain only natural ingredients and no sugar
