I messed up (being too clingy?) along the way of my relationship with my girlfriend. Shes starting to act weird and disconnected (from what was once love). Now Im trying to stop it and turn it around.

So during our last conversation on the phone I asked if she wanted to hang out later and she said maybe (still in her mood). Later on she texts me asking if she wanted to hang out and I texted back telling her Im kinda busy now. She texted me back saying 'That's cool....ttyl....'. I havn't talked to her since then but I plan on telling her we need to talk. I get the feeling she might want to break up, and in this case Im wondering what I could say to make her not want to break up (without bring needy).

for those who have seen a previous question of mine ull know im not in contact with my family i havent see my mum or brother for nearly 2 years and my sister i havent seen for 7 years. my sister had a son whos now 2 and ive seen him once but i just found out shes had a little girl now, i feel sad because thats my niece and nephew and its a shame. everything thats gone i can never forgive my mum or sister so getting back in touch isnt an option thers a lot of history thats too painful. but i feel like everyones moving on and im stuck in a rut with no1 or nothing. dont get me wrong my life is good ive got a lot of great friends ive got a job and a roof over my head but its so hard and it just gets to me sometimes.

And also which is correct?

Because his writing style is always so wordy, I advised him to write ( ).

A. shortly B. concisely C. briefly D promptly.

My text book says the answer is B. Isnt C correct???
