there is no such thing as speed of thought.....just speed of nerve (introns) impulses in your brain...not as fast as light though...

because it is my theory...and i can prove it with an experiment....turn a flashlight on and off and as soon as the light disappears darkness appears..it is instantaneous....you can stump your physics teacher with this question...thank u

You're quite wrong about the flashlight. The transition from light to dark takes just as long as the other way around. Flipping the switch off will cause the bulb to stop emitting light, but the light that's already in the room can only leave it at the rate of the speed of light. Of course, that only takes a miniscule fraction of a second since the speed of light is, after all, 186,000 miles per second.

There are particles that travel faster than the speed of light = tachyons. These particles travel backwards in time. So, it is possible to travel faster than the speed of light, but what a particle cannot do, is cross the speed of light barrier - ie: go from travelling slower than the speed of light to travelling faster.

Gravity has been proved travels at the speed of light!
Faster than the speed of light thinking can be!

The speed at which some people verbalize stupid thoughts. One second people are wondering whether or not you're as A**, then you open your mouth, and all doubt disolves!

You know what? You're talking about the same thing again. Coz you can't have dark without light(absrption of all light.)

Any electromagnetic pulse is as much fast as light, and also the absense of the pulse is also as much fast.

So what are you asking? How can you "know" if it's a theory?Actually, i would say it's my cat,she can move faster than anything.
