a connection with family or roots is more important in some then others. a sense of belonging, may be why your feeling depressed. help may be as close as your phone or doctors..

When you are missing you're family, you're missing a part of yourself. There is blood there that a job, friends, or homes can't provide. The only way to make it better is to reconcile. I know you are saying there's too much painful history there, but isn't it time you stop running from the history and confronting it. If they refuse to confront it with you, then you know you did everything you could to change the situation and maybe that will help you to rest a little easier.

Sometimes, vowing to NEVER forgive someone can make things harder than what they should be. I'm not saying that what happened wasn't serious, because I don't know. But at some point you have to find it in your heart to forgive. If you really wanted to be away from your family due to so much anger and hurt feelings, you wouldn't be trying to find out things that are happening with them. The fact that you know what is currently going on in their lives just goes to show that you do still care. Try not to harbor so much anger towards them and find the forgiveness in your heart so you can heal your broken family. You never know, maybe they are missing you just as much as you are missing them.

What could of possibly have happened that can't be forgiving? Things happen in our past that can't be changed, but it is not worth giving up your family. Make the first move and go see them. They are probably feeling the same way about you. Someone has to make the first move.

Break the coccoon creatyed around you by yourself and go ahead! There is no remedy for brooding over the past. Be positive. You are proud to have nephews and nieces but that something prevents you from expressing it... Tear off.. be the real you... and everything will come back to the sweet olden times!!!!

I UNDERSATND JUST HOW U ARE FEELING , REASON I SAY THIS BECAUSE I AM LIVING IN ANOTHER COUNTRY AND NOT SEEING MY FAMILY . BUT YOU KNOW WHAT HAS KEPT ME PRAYERS AND IF YOU TRULY PRAY TO GOD AND ASK HIM TO GIVE YOU THE STRENGHT AND THE COURAGE TO MAKE THE WRONG RIGHT HE WILL HELP YOU TO DO SO .
THE THING IS IN LIFE WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES AND SAY AND DO THINGS THAT WE SHOULD NOT HAVE DONE BUT YOU KNOW WHAT NO ONE IS PERFECT AND IF YOU TRULY FRIST FORGIVE YOUR SELF AND ADMIT IF YOU WERE WRONG THAT YOU WERE WRONG THEN ASK YOUR FAMILY TO FORGIVE YOU AND ALSO YOU FORGIVE THEM IT WILL START THE HEALING PROCESS AND THEN YOU ALL WILL BEGIN TO HEAL AND REPAIR THE DAMAGED THAT WAS DONE . BUT YOU HAVE TO SAY IT AND REALLY MEAN IT OKAY ALL THE BEST

It is tough to be alone. You love and miss your family. Life is short. Make things right and spend quality time with your family.

you sound lonely right now, why dont you ask your sister if you can take the children for a few hours one afternoon and take them on a picnic to a park or something like that. its sad how your past relations are affecting your future relations.
