There's not going to be any easy way of doing this. It's gonna hurt and it doesn't matter how wonderful you do it, she's probably going to end up hating her anyway. You could always get her in a safe place and then just talk to her, honestly and openly. Let her talk, you talk, and just let it go where it goes. Who knows, maybe talking to her about may change something, but if she's addicted, it doesn't matter what you say, her body needs to the chemicals to feel functional and nothing short of rehab is going to fix the mess she's created inside of herself.

Confront her with it and get her some help. Quick! She might hate you now but it may save her life in the long run. If she dies from it you will be the one left with the , I should have done something.

You have to decide what is more important, her life or her getting mad at you...I would lean towards her life. Tell her you know what is going on and you want her to stop. If this does not work, and it will not, call your local police and make them aware of the situation, and ask them what you should do. Life is a precious gift, and she will find out what she has to lose.

don't worry about hurting feelings and her not liking you. wouldn't you rather her be alive and not like you than dead or a junkie and like you.
chances are she will thank you later.
if her parents are just standing by watching this then you are the only one on her side.
do everything you can to put an end to her drug use. don't give up on her. get her help, it's not easy and it's not cheap.
make sure she knows that you or someone she knows has been through this before. keep her close to you and fight for her.
good luck.

I'd tell her parents. Carrol O'Connor said it best when his son died of an overdose: Get between your kids and drugs any way you can. This little girl's right to privacy is ludicrous in comparison to saving her life.

I would probably ask this question of a community agency that deals with type of situation. They may have reliable resources for something this serious that you won't find in a forum here. You might want to start with Narcotics Anonymous.

First, it's not about you right now. If your sister has that bad of a problem, you need to seek professional help for her.
Start with healing your sister, getting her well, and then let her come to you to make ammends.

Don't say something like it ruined people's lives. Hold an intervention and get her into rehab.
