I just inherited my first fish tank...the filter is an inside filter, and I don't think that it is working properly. There is no visual show that the water is circulating. I have no paperwork or anything. I put a new cartridge in, placed it in a rear corner of the tank and plugged it in. There is a gentle humming sound, but no water movement? Is there something silly that I am not doing??? HELP ME PLEASE.

Alright, I know a 1500 is average, right? So, does that mean getting lower than a 1500 wouldn't let you get into college?

I still have to take my SATs the second time in October I think. So I was just wondering what kind of score would be good.

Taking th SATs are scary... haha and it would be even scarier if I didn't get a score high enough to get into College! So, just let me know what kind of score I should be shooting for. ;-)

If you are paying the last months rent and vacating in the middle of that same month, can the a landlord in Nova Scotia Canada rent the apartment for the rest of that month and collect rent from those people as well.

What is the best way to most effectively help in Africa (or any place in need for that matter)? I am a big supporter of the ONE campaign. But have also heard that their efforts (and other organization's money) are not getting past the corrupt government and to the people, and that nothing is changing. Hi... My red ear slider baby turtle (about 1 year old) swalled some gravel rock that I bought from the pet shop for aquariums. I brought him to a vet for x-rays, and he has a ton of rocks in his tummy. about 7-8 rocks.. the vet gave me 2 fluids for him; Metacam twice a day and Chlor Palm Susp once a day.. Along with Metamucil twice a day.. I have been following that prescription for 1 week now.. the turtle is still feeling down, not eating and barely moving around. I have a live feeder in the aquarium and I put in pellets everyday hoping he will eat something, and he never does... it's been a little over a week he hasn't eaten anything. Money is no issue.. I really want it to live, and stop it's suffering. any advice or specialist I can visit would greatly help. I am in Montreal, Quebec. Please give me your input. Thank you

I'm having problems with her. I got her last summer a friend of mine gave her to me. She's 3 years old, very tame but the only problem I have with her is that when ever she poops, and if I dont clean it right away, she eat's it. Is there something wrong with her. I've change her food, went to check if she had something wrong, Doc said she's healthy?

Online video games are my husband's only source of enjoyment it seems. We barely talk all evening and spend time in seperate rooms. He's become lazy and won't give up the games. I've been contemplating divorce. I've suggested we go for walks, bike rides, watch TV together....anything. But, he doesn't like any of my suggestions and resorts to gaming every night. Does anyone else have this problem?
