I think that you have to look at each fighter because there are still alot of great fighters who work very hard and live honest lives away from boxing. Like every sport or like every industry, usually the worst people in it get the most publicity and the ones who are just getting on with their job don't get the same mention. Personally, I feel that the continued growth inpopularity of mixed martial arts means that boxing will eventually become a side show to mixed martial arts because of the superior training techniques, fitness and skill the mixed martial arts fighters have over boxers. Might take 20 years but......

Pay per view and not enough on TV anymore so now nobody cares as much about it and nobody knows who any of the fighters are any more. Not enough exposure to the public.
