The more I read yahoo!answers, the more I see that people in general want to help each other out. We answer questions and express our opinions in a very civilized manner. But every now and then you get some people (both libs and cons) who blanket the other half with insults.

the details: I have a frind in who lives in kwai chung in hong kong, she wants to improve her english, but doesnt know how to go about it. The problem is that she is Thai and can speak and read/write fluently in the Thai language, but can only speak cantonese, her reading ability of cantonese is about the same as her english.
So what it boils down to,
I want to find a school in Hong Kong that will teach her english useing the Thai language.

Since a moral rule like, "don't steal," can lead to immorality, as in not stealing to feed your child when that's the only option, is it possible we need a new way to define morality? Can morality be permanently codified in words, or should we use words only to point at what is beyond the definitions, and alter the definitions as often as we come to understand new things about the world and our role in it?

They guy seems like a living saint to me and yet he constantly does low in the polls. Even among Republicans. Just the fact that he came out of all those years as a POW and was not a dribbling idiot amazes me. Is there some weird side of him I'm not seeing?

I know this doesn't apply to every religion, but in this modern age of Science, should people who believe in an invisable being (God) not be treated for a psychological disorder? I mean if an adult had an imaginary friend you would tell them to seek help, but not for believing in an invisable being?

It's funny, there's this one girl that's a crewleader at this smoothie place we work at, and everyone I talk too always gripes about her!

Why is it some people just make everyone hate their guts? This chick kinda has no people skills, has delusional fantasies of becoming a chef even though she's just working at a smoothie/wrap place. She's a failure at being a crewleader, and just a leader in general. I pity her, yet I wouldn't hesitate to take her position knowing I could do a hell of a better job! Not to mention that I'm well-liked too, which helps!

I'm good at being a leader, mentor and a teacher!
