The more I read yahoo!answers, the more I see that people in general want to help each other out. We answer questions and express our opinions in a very civilized manner. But every now and then you get some people (both libs and cons) who blanket the other half with insults.

I agree, the lefties are way too far left, and the righties are way far right, i consider myself to be some where in between.

There are no moderates. Even those who call themselves moderate woyld have beenconservatives a few years ago. The whole of society has shifted to the right. I have tried to maintain my moderate leftist view and would now be considered socialist. That's OK, I'm proud to be considered socialist. If it was good enough for Jesus, it's good enough for me.

Yes in the middle -1_ 0_ +1 that's me zero. One can only see both sides from the middle on neutral ground - it's called fairness.

i agree...seems the vocal minority on both sides gets to pick all the "hot topics" and the rest of us get to vote "the lesser of two evils" ;)
