We were originally to close on the 22nd but the appraisal got delayed so we had to reschedule closing. One of the conditions in the contract was that seller would complete repairs to front yard from stump removal including sod. So far nothing has been done to the yard and we close in 4 days. Is this unusual? If we refuse to sign because they did not fulfill their end of the contract can we get money back for the appraisal and inspection?

they advertise their dog being lost in newspapers & posters posted on trees in neighborhoods ? My friend posted an ad with a $500 reward & has still not gotten her dog back & it's been over 2 months. It was a Shih-tzu Bichon mixed puppy.

I want to rent a traditionally furnished and comfortable cottage somewhere relaxing in Thailand, except Phuket.
I don't like hotels because I feel that they will prevent me from truly experiencing Thailand. Has anyone stayed in places other than a hotel while in Thailand? How was the experience? Specific recommendations would be appreciated very much.

Others have asked about his music - if you've never heard him, buy his Grace Album. Something there for everyone - Hallelujah (which is in Shrek, but a slowed down version) is powerful, moving and one of his best ever. He died so young, and just when he was starting to take off professionally. I would like to know what made him go like he did. His spirit soars in his vocals. For those of you who saw him perform live, I salute you.

Starting from scratch, what brand and model of components and accessories would you get if you had a budget of $10,000 USD to spend on a brand new (market priced) high-end stereo system?

The listening room size measures 10'W x 13'L x 8'H. Wall-to-wall carpet.

If it is a home theater system, it must have everything including the TV. The TV is only an option if the system is purely 2-channel stereo.
