My mom says my clothes make me look old...I think I bought those from nordstrom rack in san leandro and ann taylor. how about banana republic?
i dont know much about fashion and have little time to learn.
I'm dating a 28y/o man in finance and work at a corporation...i dont want to look old, yet i dont want to look like how a lot of slutty 18 year olds dress these days.
If u have any stores in mind that fit this picture (hip, classy, clean, sophisticated yet seductive/attractive) that arent crazy expensive (my budget is very tight), and can be found in the san francisco bay area, please share..I'd REALLY appreciate it!
Btw- are thrift stores in rich cities good idea since rich women wear em once and toss em?
Jeremy's in Berkeley any good?
Should I stick with outlet stores?
thank you :)

I have currently lived in the SF bay area for a year so things are still new to me. I moved here for graduate school and if I thought I was broke before moving out here I was wrong. Finances have seriously made my life nearly unbearable at this point and I've had to go part-time for my degree which will now take about 6 six years to finish instead of 4. I've also had a hard time finding jobs. I live in Vallejo which means I commute a lot ( my summer job was part time and I spent 80 bucks a week just in gas/tolls). I wish there was something closer but I can't afford to move to other parts of the bay area. I'm willing to commute to work either car or bart. Does anyone know any good companies to work for here especially ones that may be a bit flexible? I'm looking for full or part time positions particularly in the administrative branch but I'm willing to take on anything even if it's a store/retail type job. Any suggestions?

I can't find any teacher store closer than Lakeshore in San Leadro. Is there one closer to Richmond? Or even just a store that sells pocket charts, big calendars, and other stuff like that?

What are good areas in Oakland to live? Other nearby cities that are good and within easy drive (30-40min) to Alameda as I hope to get a job there. What are the taxes like--property, income, vehicle registration? Thanks for any information.
