i have a $40 check that i want to cash for my dental assissting for my dentist. the check saids- Pay to the order of: Desmond Cheung (which is me). i have a washington mutual bank account, and i have a school ID. please let me know. thanks

If you have an Account at Wamu, & the proper I.D.- then you should be able to cash that check- no problem.

The only reason why I had a debit/credit card before I turned 18 was because I was working at Wachovia during that time. They do not issue cards to minors. The only thing I can tell you to do is have your parents open an account and get a card for you so you can access the account.
