I have been trying to sell my horse for 3 years. I have tried horsetopia.com, craigslists.com and livedeal.com and none of them worked. If you want to buy her, please live in the northern CA area!

I have a morgan mare that is pure morgan and I can't just give her away because we have put too much money into her. we have had her all her life and she is 12 yrs old.

There are a lot of auctions around, not all of them are for slaughter houses. Most people don't know that you can take a horse to an auction and if you don't get what she's worth, or you don't like the look of the new owner you can decline the sale. Try talking to your horse shoer, they are the best for selling horses, give him a flyer to put up on his truck. Also try putting an ad in a different city.

You might try equine.com. I had good luck using that site to sell two horses!
