For me, I would say, if I could go back and change one thing, it would be that I would have laid next to my Mother with my arm around her, just holding her as,....she took her last breath--instead of going upstairs to return, what I was told, was an "important" phone call.
She had passed away shortly before I came back downstairs. It will be 6 years in a couple of months and I think of it more often than I should. I still wish I had been holding her.
After all, the mother cradles her child in her arms upon coming into the world, the least the child can do is hold their parent as they leave this life. (if their with them) Our parents love us. They're not perfect, but they are our parents.
Spice, I will respect your question as hypothetically speaking, as we all know, no one is privileged to any "do overs".
I liked your question and thank you for asking it.

I was going to ask a similar question..... thanks for saving me 5 points and giving me 2 points.
If I could go back in time and meet myself when I was 19, I'd tell myself to not get in my friends car and screw up the rest of my life, I'm 49 now.
Lemons and lemonade! Doing the best I can with what I have left.
If you feel sorry for me, give me 10 points..... I don't feel that way, I just want the 10 points!!!
Anyone is just an accident away from a permanent disability.... be careful out there! Bless you all!!

If I could change anything who knows how that would have changed the present. Things could have turned out allot better or worse but, you never know. We all have regrets, learning from mistakes makes us stronger & wiser but, dwelling on a past we cant change depresses and weekens the best of us.

Getting pregnant at the age of 17(I'm 43 now). Not very smart on my part & I missed out on alot of oppurtunities. Having a baby makes you grow up to fast. I would never give up the child that I had, I just wish that I would have had him about 8 years later.

I would have ignored all that college = BIG $$$ cr*p and started working doing any kind of work as self-employed and invested every dollar I ever made! (MONEY WORKS 24/7.) I would have had dinero aplenty way before now to do what I want instead of just now paying off student loans and doing white collar dirt I can't stand!

i wouldn't change the serious bad stuff because that made me, me, but do goods things that i could have done and can't now eg. dated this guy, putting 100% into exams and coursework, keeping good friends when we had to move on.
that film that says whe you die you regret the things you didn't do, i think hes wrong you won't regret the things you never thought of doing, your regret the things you had a chance to do and could of have done but chose not to. thats regret !

I wouldn't change a thing. The experiences of my past have made me what I am today. I've learned from my mistakes..rejoiced in the wise decisions..and have learned in whatever state I am in..to be content.

Not getting a ride home with a certain person after the school play my freshman year. I would be an entirely different person now if I had never rode home with that person.
