People like to throw out completion rating and TD stats when talking about the Greatest QB ever. The dude is the master of game management. All that matters is The ring and he has three of them and should be in the top 5. Just ask Peyton Manning or Dan Marino if he would trade all those stats for a ring.

We can't judge him until he is done playing. So far he has been surrounded by an incredible team where not much was expected of him until last year. I don't think he will go to another superbowl let alone win one. I think he and Big Ben are two of the luckiest QB's to play the game with the teams they are surrounded by. Look at a guy like Manning with a defense that couldn't guard a guy with a gun and a badge and yet he still finds a way to light teams up enough to win. We will see now that the Patriots are past their prime how Tom does.

Behind

Marino, Elway, Montana, Farve, Young, P. Manning, Moon, Fouts, Bradshaw...and a host of others.

Winning a superbowl is not a great indicator of a great QB but of a great team. Brady has not had the passing success of many QBs. While he is one of the best in the game today he has not done nearly enough to be considered among the all-time greats.

Joe Montana, Johnny Unitas, John Elway, Terry Bradshaw, Roger Staubach, Dan Marino, Steve Young, and Fran Tarkenton, are all better than Tom Brady.

I would probably place him fairly low in the Top 10; but he's still got some good years in front of him.

if brady is REALLY lucky he'll crack the top 100 but in my personal list he wont even make the top 1000 cuz i'll name every other QB before him. i mean the guy sucks, he's a little pretty boy, who was on the same team as a great kicker and ended up getting lucky. wait till the pats suck this year

About #27 overall. For SB wins though, he's number three. Bradshaw, Montana then Brady. Why Montana ahead of Brady? He was a better overall quarterback.

he is already a first ballot hall of famer..the bust is already carved all he has left to do is choose his presenter..he is not the greatest..but he is the montana of this era...i respectfully disagree with strange daze 23..the superbowl performance of the qb position is the defining of the great ones..from starr, up to brady the reason these qb's have fame is their performance in the biggest sporting event..the biggest stage is where their legacy is made..we remember them because of that..the hall of fame is loaded with more superbowl winning qb's or championship game winning (pre superbowl) than regular season stat holders..

Fairly high. Behind Marino, Montana and Elway.

he is over-rated but he has won 3 super bowls he is, in my opinion, in the top 25 (remember Terry Bradshaw won 3 super bowls and had more incomplete passes than most other quaterbacks alltime)

top 10 for sure. You just can't win 3 SB's and not be in the top 10.
