I have a chance for employment at Toyota in San Antonio.

Reading around about San Antonio's safe areas to live, the only side that seems to get recommended is the north side. Particularly the south is deemed unsafe but that is where Toyota is located.
I would need an apartment, not a house. I can't seem to find any good reviews of south side apartments.
Is it a pain to commute from north to south? how is traffic?
Thank you.

Hi! I need to get a hotel for the last three nights of my honeymoon in Vegas. I already have a room at Harrah's for 6 nights (thanks to my fiance's generous parents letting us use their timeshare, but it is only for a week). Here's my choices, and I'm having trouble choosing from them:

1) spend a lot of money staying at a nice hotel mid-stip (near where I'm already staying) in their basic room

2) spend half the money staying at an average hotel's regular room at the end of the strip

3) getting a super cheap room off the strip

or

4) spend as much at a cheap hotel off strip as I would at an average hotel at the end of the strip, but get a nice suite with jacuzzi

Having a nice hotel would be nice for our honeymoon, but have extra money would also be nice. I can't decide!

What do you think and why? Thanks so much for your input!

I find it interesting that so many ask where they have to live to get good acting jobs rather than what they have to do to becme good actors. So let us help them out by giving them a good list of acting classes or drama programs for crying out loud!

I and my friends are coming to Philadelphia during Columbus Day Weekend. I have been several times, others have never been to your fine city.

I need a list of unique things do do in Philadelphia, apart from the typical stuff like Art Museums, Liberty Bell, Bars/Clubs, Cheesesteaks, that we will do anyway. I need something very amazing and enjoyable...something unusual.

As you may have guessed, I'm a student at one of the universities in these places and I'd like to be able to visit a friend at the university in the other.

I've been trying to figure out the most cheap/efficient way to travel between Stanford and Davis. We'll need to use public transportation, since neither of us has a car or a great deal of money to spend on cabs). Ideally, I'd like a route with as few transfers as possible, but any suggestions or advice will be gratefully accepted.

In 3 years I'm planning on moving to Vegas from California as my new home and to start a whole new life by myself with all my family and friends back in California. Also I want to have my own family with children and build a future. Does it always get boring in Vegas? How is the weather during the summer and winter? Is the income tax low becuase of the casino's revenue? Does it flood alot during rainy season? Where do u go to ski and snowboard? What else should I know? What do you think?

I've found the Riverside Tower Hotel on Broadway ($120) and a B&B on East 86 and Third for $160, an apt in Greenwich Village for $210 which is too much. I need it for ten nights for me and my 17 y/o son. Any help would be appreciated. I've never been to NYC so I don't know if these areas are safe yet accessible. Please advise!

I might have to relocate to Denver and was wondering about the area. How is the cost of living, the job market, the schools, the neighborhoods, the people, the climate(especially the winters),entertainment, etc. I know that there are websites ( I have visited the denver city site) about these things and have checked them but I would like to read opinions from those who actually live there. If you know of any good websites let me know. Thanks everyone for the imput!

Hi, I'm going to move to west LA this month. I'm wondering what I can do there? I mean, I'm from San Francisco and I'm so used to going shopping and having fun. I've been to west LA once and I find it kinda...I don't know...dull? I like the other side of LA but not west LA. Maybe it's just because I don't know the place yet. Can anyone tell me more about the area (west LA, westwood, santa monica)?
