It's a good idea to write down the TA phone number and carry it with you, if you feel you have been long hauled(cheated) call the TA from the cab before you pay.

Later: "maniax696969" >"Not bad it only cost me $13 from Bally's to the Palms" - Another case where not knowing costs you - he could have taken the free shuttle to the Palms from across the street at Caesars or he could have taken the free shuttle from Bally's to Rio and walked across the street to the Palms or he could have taken the free shuttle from Bill's Gamblin Hall to the Gold Coast and walked across the street.

if u want to be specific on rates. all the rates, are the same. whether you are on the strip or summerlin, green valley or the ghetto. it is a base price of sumthin like 3.00, after that, its .20 cents per 1/11 of a mile..which is about $1.20 a mile. so getting on the cab, and traveling to lets say mandalay bay to caesars palace will cost you about almost $ 5.00 of course vegas is a tipping city, so tip the guy atleast 1-2 bucks. i mean nice cab drivers usually load your bags for you if you have any.
* keep in mind, if you were to let a taxi driver wait, for you, for every hour its $22.00
* and for every trip to the McCarran airport there is a flat fee of sumthin like $5
