Wow, that's a vague question. Well, let's see. Atlanta Braves pitcher Tim Hudson has been defeated by the Mets a few times this year, so that's one New York connection to the name "Hudson."

There's the Hudson River, I know it. It flows to the west of Manhattan from places upstate in New York.

Never visited Hudson Bay up in Canada, that's a long way, and a difficult trip through extremely remote terrain on the James Bay Road. Hard to connect that to New York. Let's see, you take the Thruway out of the city, go up I-87, cross the border into Quebec, start heading northwest out of Montreal...........

What are you trying to ask, anyway? I am really quite confused. It's like a riddle...how mysterious.

Which one?

Of course there's the Hudson River. There's apparently a town called Hudson up in Columbia County, New York. And there's also a Hudson County in New Jersey. And don't forget that there's a guy named Henry Hudson, who sailed up part of that river, and who is, ultimately, the namesake of all the other stuff I mentioned.
