I the next few months I will be moving out to the Seattle Tacoma area. What i need to know where a good place to live is at. I need an area thats not expensive in a good neighborhood and so on. anybody have any suggestions?

if you must be that far south consider Kent or Auburn areas...however there are some pockets in tacoma where it is less expensive but crime rate is questionable...but once you get here you'll know for certain...Federal way is also a nice area... but close to tacoma is auburn and kent... if anyone suggest fife which is between auburn and tacome say no....that place is nicknamed "Funkie Fife" for reason

Beacon Hill is a bit less expensive than the rest of the City, and near downtown. A lot depends on what you consider a good neighborhood. Renton can be tolerable and affordable. Burien is decent, the U District also tolerable.

Nothing in inexpensive in the Seattle area. Bring your wallet full of money my friend because housing is very expensive there!

Olympia is not too expensive. My sister and brother in law live there and had a 3 bedroom apartment for less than $900, and they had two pools (One indoor and one outdoor)

Try the Arlington area. Its not so city and not as expensive as most of the areas and its beautiful.

Belleve / Redmond area is great place to live, good neigbour,
hope, you can find not expensive one.
