I'm planning a trip to Boston, MA either in late-Summer/early-Autumn for 3-days. What are some highlights and interests worth putting on my agenda?

I'm definitely interested in Revolutionary stuff as well as arts & theatre, but am open to other fascinating and interesting areas.

I'm looking for ideas to put on an itinerary to make this trip worthwhile. Thanks!

PS - I'm going to be staying in the downtown area, so anything in that general vicinity where public transit can take me.

I was told that there are hotels for exhibitionists and voyeurs in Chicago where people can freely watch what's going on in other rooms. My boyfriend and I are looking for one of these to go to. So if anyone knows of any, please let me know!

I might be moving to the Atlanta metro to take up a job, specifically in Alpharetta. Moving from California and have never been to Atlanta. Have no idea on where to live. I'm a vegetarian single in my 30's and would prefer being near places that might have some vegetarian restaurants or natural food stores nearby. Not too much into the night-life scene, and like being very active (running, hiking, etc) but it would be nice to be around young single people. Willing to spend around $800 on a studio/one-bed apt, preferably including utilities.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated :)

I am 37 years old, single, with no children. I am working on a writing career, I also do photography, drawing, painting, etc. I currently hold a real estate license which is reciprocal in 4-5 other states. Most of my work history is in real estate, management, and marketing, and website entry and have some college studies (30 credit hours) in English/Business/Marketing and Management. I would like to take a year and travel throughout the United States, not all 50 states, but a good helping of them. I have a home but want to (maybe) come back to it and since I still owe on it, would have to rent it out and hope for good renters. Has anyone else done this and if so, how did you financially do it? Is there a "trick" or an order of things? Thanks in advance!

My friend and I are going to Boston in a couple of months and we're looking for a quality, safe, affordable (around $150-200/night), and well-located hotel. We're not renting a car, so preferably something close to the action, as well as close to transportation to get around to everywhere else. Any suggestions?
