Irvine, Thousand Oaks, Mission Viejo, Glendale, funny thing is, these are also some of the most expensive cities. Criminals can't afford to move there!! LOL!

Places up North are fairly safe. Also Irvine is a good place to live. It's in Southern California, south of LA but north of San Diego. Los Angeles is not safe depending on where you are...but they have some suburbs that are pretty safe. San Diego in general is safe, but some of the safer places are Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar (all coastal and expensive), San Marcos (Inland by about 20 miles, not too expensive), Rancho Bernardo and Poway (Inland by about 30-40 miles, but expensive).
I guess the facts are here that where you have to pay more to feel safe. It's a bummer.

anyplace south of Sacramento would be high priced to stay yet could have many sturdy job opportunities. Silicon Valley is remarkable for tech jobs. anyplace North of Sacramento would be safer and greater value-effective however the roles would be a undertaking to discover interior the tech container. attempt Sacramento, Davis or Chico or maybe even crimson Bluff or Redding.

If you're looking at big cities I would say San Diego or San Jose, very low violent crime rate for their size. If you're looking at smaller cities, i'm not sure b/c they're so many of them but it would probably be a really wealthy one in metropolitan areas or a really small remote one for rural areas.
