I am 37 years old, single, with no children. I am working on a writing career, I also do photography, drawing, painting, etc. I currently hold a real estate license which is reciprocal in 4-5 other states. Most of my work history is in real estate, management, and marketing, and website entry and have some college studies (30 credit hours) in English/Business/Marketing and Management. I would like to take a year and travel throughout the United States, not all 50 states, but a good helping of them. I have a home but want to (maybe) come back to it and since I still owe on it, would have to rent it out and hope for good renters. Has anyone else done this and if so, how did you financially do it? Is there a "trick" or an order of things? Thanks in advance!

hey!

You can totally do it!

I'm a college student but I go all over the place on the cheap.

For cheap traveling try ridester.com, which allows you to basically e-hitchhike. it requires you to pay people for rides, but most people don't want much. For free places to stay, try couchsurfing.com. This will allow you to hook up with people in all fifty states willing to put you up (again, for free) for anywhere from 1 to 10 days. I actually found someone in NYC to let me crash for a month while I do an internship.

Those are the two biggest things that you can use to cut down on cost.

It's very possible to travel cheaply. If you are traveling in your own vehicle, consider camping. There are numerous free campsites in national forests throughout the west. If you choose to stay in motels, you can find inexpensive places in small towns rather than staying in cities or suburban areas. You can travel cheaply by bus and train (Amtrak has a variety of long-term passes), and by using overnight trains you can save on lodging.

to sell dependancy. At point a million you get somewhat style, then whilst ya hit point 2 you start to get a yearning. by ability of point 3, you're an entire-blown addict, and screaming in direction of further and extra stages. whilst ya get suspended from point 7 and are available crashing all the way down to a million returned, you will do something for a fix!
