The primary form of transportation in Los Angeles in 20 years and are there any plans to close any streets to cars? Also what will happen to the suburbs, single-family neighborhoods, freeways, existing development, etc.? And what will LA and its metro area look like in 20 years?

is it so cold that you only wear Winter clothing all year round? And is the flu seldom seen up there because the cold kills the virus?

Why do European citizins get fingerprinted and photographed when entering U.S.A. but not the other way around. Anything can happen anywhere in the world and all people of all nations are of equal value? After all, the bombers in London were sadly "home grown".

I have undertaken planning my friend's bachelor party in Vegas and was wondering what hotel would be the best fit for us. We are willing to spend money on the place we stay, but want to survive as cheaply as possible after that. We will probably just drink alot of alcohol that we are bringing with an sit in poker rooms and sports books gambling and drinking comped alcohol. We would also like to go to a club one night, so any recommendations there would also be appreciated. Our front-runner choice is Caesar's due to it's location, luxury, and enormous pool to lounge by and drink. I've heard good things about the Palms for people our age (24) as well. Thanks guys.

My in-laws want to move to Utah because thier son lives there with a girl he met online. All he can do is rave about it. I suggested moving to Idaho instead. I have been to both and I like Idaho better but they are leaning toward Utah. I have lived all over the world and he has lived in mexico city, san diego and salt lake city. I dont want their loser son to shack up with us again when he doesnt pay rent, has no respect for anyone in the house and is constantly fighting with his dad. We live in San Diego CA now and its getting rediculous to afford to live here and we need a change of scenery. Can someone help me with an argument for idaho or an argument against utah?

I might me getting a job in pittsburgh and I'm wondering how long it takes to get there from NJ. Map point was 389 miles and 6 hours but one of my customers told me that it should only take 4-41/2 hours which if accurate would be really great. I'm going to be traveling back and forth alot.

Hey i live in London, but i need a change so im thinking of moving to Los Angeles for 6 months. Can anybody tell me if Los Angeles is a good choice?

I'm considering moving to the D.C. area, or the Virginia or Maryland suburbs as well. I'm looking for a job that pays decently, and was impressed with all the job listings for that area in the Washington Post. (Jobs suck where I live outside Pittsburgh.) Anybody who lives there, works there, been there, offer any advice to me? Currently I live about 4 hours away, but the closest to D.C. that I've been is Annapolis. Any impressions of that area appreciated.

I've read these two articles in the Contra Costa Times that I think totally capture the pretentiousness and keeping up with the Jones' attitude that is so prevelant here. People in Nor Cal try to claim Southern Californian's are fake, well isn't that the kettle calling the pot black. Please read these two articles and tell me what you think:
