There is excellent nightlife in Honolulu especially Waikiki. My personal favourite bar is Dukes Canoe Club. There is also Scrupples Beach Club on Kuhio Ave & Moose McGillycuddy's on Lewers Street (both have weekly Bikini contests). The Red Lion on Lewers Street is also good. Generally there are loads of good bars

The nightlife sucks. Mooses is a military (mainly Marines)hangout. Trust me you don't want to deal with drunk marine on your vacation. The Red Lion closed down along with someother good places on Lewers Street because they torn them down to make room for new condos down there. I lived there for 3 years and moved back to the mainland in June.
