I just want to add a comment about the guy who said to drive. The drive from Houston is at least an hour and half (with good traffic). The cost of a rental car and gas doesn't make it worth it! The extra flight from Houston to CS or Dallas to CS is about $50-$100 extra. You'd spend so much more on a car!
Also, I checked once on taxi costs. . .it costs less for a limo to drive you than a taxi. Strange, eh?
I'd definitely recommend flying in. I much preferred Continental (better service, more consistently on time), but either way it beats driving. I made the mistake of flying in and out of Houston my freshmen year of college and I never did it again.

There are no direct flights from Phoenix's Sky Harbor International Airport to the Texas A&M Airport in College Station, TX.
According to http://www.tamu.edu/easterwoodairport/ the only airlines that fly into the Texas A&M Airport are American Airlines and Continental Airlines. Both of these airlines fly out of Sky Harbor International Airport. Contact the airlines for specific flight information.

College Station has a small municipal airport serviced by American Eagle and Continental.

If you fly American, you will fly into DFW and take a puddle jumper to College Station.
If you fly Continental, you will fly into Houston and then take a puddle jumper to College Station.
