I currently live in Kansas and have a potential job offering in the Long Beach area. I have heard good and bad things about it, but I am wondering if it would be a good place to start and raise a family. Any and all responses would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!

does anybody know any nice towns somewhere in the northern part of the U.S.? I want to live in a small town near a big city where there is a lot of snow (not too much) and also has many parks, museums, ...things like that. ...somewhere where I won't have to worry about taking a long walk at night or whether or not somebody is going to break into my house...

Somewhere fun and interesting but historical and educational (for my mom) and with good photo ops (for my brother) near the dc area. surrounding states to virginia is what i mean.

I know there are some places in Carmel, 17-mile drive Pebble Beach, CA where you can go in a forrest and find Porcini Mushrooms.

I am going to NYC at the end of this month. I would like to get tix to see this. I see it says on their website that I can get in the standby line at 7AM. Has anyone ever done this? What time should I get there to have a better chance of getting a 2 tickets?
